
Today, I went off on a flying visit to London, for my first day at The
2007 London Design Festival. As I sat outside the Royal Festival Hall this morning, I watched the 150 blocks of black pre-cast concrete of Zaha Hadid's sculpture "Super Fluid Tiling" be constructed, polished and curated. Following which, it was off into the press office and then a look at
Deptford Design Market Challenge (see my article over on
Inhabitat.com) and of course the Swarovski Installations. Despite discovering the cancellation of Organicks, it was a brief (but exciting) start, to a jam-packed week of coverage. Plenty of initial photos up on
